How much tile wastage should I allow?
Ten percent for a straight lay, fifteen percent for diagonal patterns and rooms with many cuts.
How many 24x24 tiles in a square metre?
A 24 x 24 inch tile is 4 sq ft, so about 2.7 tiles cover one square metre.
Should I buy extra tiles?
Yes. Keep at least one spare box from the same batch, since dye lots vary between production runs.
